Each school year, Teachers' Insurance Plan ™ recognizes one teacher* who has
excelled in his or her commitment and contribution to the betterment of their school, students
or educational community in the state. In addition, a National Teacher of the Year will

*Currently nominations are only being accepted for educators
teaching in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Missouri, New York, Ohio,
Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia and Washington. The Teachers' Insurance Plan Selection Committee will select the winner
in its sole discretion. Decisions made by the Selection Committee are final. The Award is conditioned upon the winner
agreeing to accept the Teacher of the Year Award at a time and place to be determined by Teachers' Insurance Plan and
allowing the use of his or her name and image by the Company. Qualified educators must hold a full-time
teaching position (kindergarten through graduate school) in a public or private school or
university. No purchase is necessary. Nominations are open to all qualified teachers regardless of
whether they are a Teachers' Insurance Plan member.
