In order to easily get a quote and set up your policy, it is helpful if you have a current copy of your Declaration Page. This ensures that we are quoting the same coverages that you have now. To start your policy, we would ask for your address, phone number, social security number, driver’s license/permit numbers, vehicle identification numbers, and, if your vehicle is financed, your lien holder information.
Yes. We mail you ID cards right away, and you should receive them by U.S. Mail soon after purchasing your policy. If you need them sooner, you can access all of your auto insurance policy documents, including your ID cards, anytime when you login to your policy online.
Teachers.com® offers a variety of payment plans including Annual, Semi-Annual, Quarterly and Monthly that can be paid in installments, as well as payroll deduction in some cases With our Preferred Payer Discount™, the more you pay up-front on your Teachers.com Insurance auto policy, the more we put back in your pocket. You can make payments by mail with a check, or online or over the phone using your checking or savings account, or a debit or credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
Teachers.com® does allow you to choose the day of the month your monthly payments are due by contacting Customer Service. However, you are not able to change your due date from month-to-month and we need at least five (5) business days to complete changes to your payment plan.
In order to cancel your old insurance policy, you should notify your current insurer and they should refund any over payment you have made. In order to show your prior carrier that you have new coverage in place, we can fax or email proof of coverage at your request.
